Robocall Mitigation

Help prevent the spread of illegal robocalls, telemarketer scams and caller ID spoofers with our next generation solution to protect your subscribers.

What is a Robocall?

When you answer a phone call and you hear a recorded message instead of a live person, that’s a robocall. Certain types of robocalls are legal, such as appointment reminders from your doctor, debt collector calls, political calls and calls from charities.

Illegal robocalls are from scammers trying to sell you something, without your written permission to call you in this way. It’s very easy for telemarketers to make robocalls over the internet from anywhere in the world, faking their outbound caller ID name and/or number, in order to trick the callee that they are receiving a call from a legitimate business.

People have lost trust  and stopped answering phone calls.

Due to the 10s of billions of illegitimate robocalls that occur each year, the FCC has enacted the TRACED act, which has introduced STIR/SHAKEN into the industry. This ensures that all inbound and outbound calls to/from subscribers are authenticated and verified by every service provider, using their caller ID.
